Student brief - 4 days
This is a city branding project for the Bristol City Council.
The brief was to rebrand the city's visual identity and to roll it out to the look and feel of their mobile app that promotes tourism as well as local guidance.
Having attended a degree course at the University of Bristol, I know very well that Bristol is not just a city by the seaside. It is a very vibrant city with a unique mix between the tradition and the modern urbanism. My design solution was to treat a serif typeface that has a classic outlook with the effect of stencil art to reflect the nation's street art capital!
When designing, the three key words in my mind were:
HERITAGE - their historical background
URBAN ART - their city outlook
RELAXED - their people's attitude
